This was my first time ever at a Korean spa and like some other first times in my life, it was gentle and loving. They have a mugwort tea tub which I’ve never seen in any other spa. I like to think that there are some magical astringent qualities to soaking in tea. And from what my memory serves, an infrared room? Basically everything here is touched with that wonder of having experienced it for the first time, so I can’t actually tell you if the heated floor on the communal room is really as delightful as it seems in my memories. Apparently Tessa Thompson was seen here so I’m definitely gonna make a return trip.—Carol
